VISA and Passport Requirements

Participants are required to make their own arrangements for visas, if necessary.

Citizens of certain countries (list A) must hold a short-term Schengen visa to travel in Spain. Please, refer to the guidelines from the Spanish Government on the procedures and conditions regarding the issuing of these visas. The official application can be downloaded from this link or obtained from the Diplomatic Missions or the Consular Offices of Spain abroad.

Applications should be presented at least three weeks before the departure date at the Spanish Diplomatic Mission or Consular Office in the applicant's legal place of residence. If there is no Spanish Diplomatic Mission or Consular Office in a specific country, applications can be made at the Diplomatic Mission or Consular Office that represents Spain in said country.

It is important to verify the procedure and documentation with the office where the application will be submitted. See how to contact the Office via this link.

If necessary, the Organising Committee will issue invitation letters for visa applications. Please, indicate during registration if you require a personal invitation to attend the conference. It is important to note that the visa is only a preliminary permission for entry, which does not automatically authorize its possessor to enter the country.
